Behind the Screen showed the behind-the-scenes activities that happened around the set of a successful daytime soap opera.
This show was meant to be CBS's version of a late night soap opera, but it never really caught on as it aired too late for many people to see it.
The soap on the show was called Generations, which oddly became the name of a NBC daytime soap opera in 1989.
