Eddie Smith, a reformed gambler, who tries to make it as the owner of New York's Big E Sports Arena. His family was made up of Honey, an ex-stripper, his granddaughter Ginger, and his brother Jessie, who was also his accountant.

Sept. 12, the series was moved to its regular day and time (Fridays, 8- 8:30 p.m.).
The show was placed up against NBC's powerhouse his Sanford and Son
and quickly faded away.
