1 :01x01 - Mystery Judge

The designers are teamed up and must create an inner sanctum for a mystery celebrity. Joining host Todd Oldham are judges Jonathan Adler, lead judge and interior designer, Margaret Russell, editor-in-chief of ELLE DECOR Magazine, and Kelly Wearstler, interior designer, who - along with a special mystery guest client - will decide who has created the "Top Design," and who will be sent home.



2 :01x02 - Childs Play

In the second "Top Design" challenge, contestants are each given a dossier for individual clients for whom they must design a bedroom. Halfway through the challenge, with their sketches finalized and the shopping completed, the designers learn there is a big and small twist. Joining host Todd Oldham and judges Jonathan Adler, Margaret Russell and Kelly Wearstler, is special guest judge Liz Lange, maternity wear designer.



3 :01x03 - Life's a Beach (a.k.a. Design's a Beach)

It's all about rest and relaxation for the remaining contestants as they head to the beach in the third episode of "Top Design" -- or so they think. The sun and sand will turn out to be the grounds for another team challenge in which the designers must create a cabana inspired by one of three famous resort locales: Miami, Tahiti, and St. Tropez. Special guest judge Kathryn Ireland joins Jonathan, Kelly, and Margaret in deciding who has created the "Top Design."



4 :01x04 - Diamond in the Rough (a.k.a. One Man's Trash...)

Every talented interior designer must have an "eye for design," and this fourth episode will test the eye of each of the remaining contestants. They must create a living and work space for their clients who are all design students. Although the designers get to meet their clients first this time, they are thrown yet another curve ball, asked to use pieces found at garage sales. Special guest judge Joe Stewart, recognized production designer for many sitcoms, special events, award shows, theatrical productions and more, including "Top Design", joins Jonathan, Kelly, and Margaret to decide who has created the "Top Design," and who will be sent home.



5 :01x05 - Garage Band

The fifth episode of "Top Design" features the designers working with The All-American family -- three kids, two parents, and a dog -- to create a dream family space in their garage. Joining host Todd Oldham are judges Jonathan Adler, Margaret Russell, and Kelly Wearstler, who - along with special guest judge and architect, Mark Rios - will decide who has created the "Top Design," and who will be sent home.



6 :01x06 - Life of the Party

Party on! The contestants are split into two teams of three in the sixth "Top Design" challenge and asked to design competing party spaces for Bacardi Limon to entertain guests of ELLE DECOR Magazine. Joining host Todd Oldham are judges Jonathan Adler, Margaret Russell and Kelly Wearstler, who - along with event producer and special guest judge Ben Bourgeois - will decide who has created the "Top Design," and who will be sent home.



7 :01x07 - Chef's Choice

The competition gets cookin' in the seventh episode of "Top Design" when the remaining contestants face "Top Chef" Head Judge Tom Colicchio in their hardest design challenge yet. The designers are asked to create the chef's table for Tom's new restaurant featuring dishes made from the best natural ingredients. Joining host Todd Oldham are judges Jonathan Adler, Margaret Russell and Kelly Wearstler, who along with Tom will decide who has created the "Top Design," and who will be sent home.



8 :01x08 - Metropolitan Home Suites

The creative juices will flow as the remaining contestants head to the upscale Viceroy Hotel in Los Angeles to design a high-end modern hotel room. The final four must draw inspiration from one of four elements: earth, fire, water, and air. Joining host Todd Oldham are judges Jonathan Adler, Margaret Russell and Kelly Wearstler, who - along with a special guest judge Linda O'Keeffe, the Director of Design & Architecture for Metropolitan Home Magazine - will decide who has created the "Top Design," and who will be sent home.



9 :01x09 - ELLE DECOR Cover Inspiration

The strongest remaining interior design contestants select one of 10 ELLE DECOR Magazine covers as inspiration for their design. Joining host Todd Oldham are judges Jonathan Adler, Margaret Russell and Kelly Wearstler, who - along with furniture and interior designer Michael Berman - will decide who has created the "Top Design," and who will be sent home.



10 :01x10 - Lofty Designs

And then there were two. The remaining contenders each design the interior of a house -- two separate 1,700 square foot lofts in downtown Los Angeles to be exact. The series winner who creates the "Top Design" will win a brand new 2007 Acadia vehicle from GMC, an editorial feature in ELLE DECOR Magazine, plus the chance to showcase their design skills at ELLE DECOR'S Dining By Design, NYC, a lavish affair where designers, celebrities, and the who's who of fashion convene for a night of style, drama, excitement and spirited collaboration. No pressure though. Joining host Todd Oldham are judges Jonathan Adler, Margaret Russell and Kelly Wearstler, who - along with a special guest judge, film producer and actress Trudie Styler - will decide who has created the "Top Design," and who will be sent home.



11 :02x01 - Impress the Best

Season 2 finds 13 new interior designers who will face demanding clients as they create a loft space. Todd Oldham now serves as the designers' mentor as India Hicks becomes the new host.



12 :02x02 - Artsy Bunker

A functional room is designed by the team of decorators.



13 :02x03 - Window Display

First aired: Sep/17/2008

The contestants use Project Runway creations as inspiration to design window displays. Former Runway contestants Daniel Franco, Santino Rice, Jeffery Sebella, Sweet P and Andrae Gonzalo make a special appearance.



14 :02x04 - Bachelor Pads

First aired: Sep/24/2008

Dynamic living areas for bachelors are created by the decorators, with real-estate maven Jeff Lewis as the acting judge.



15 :02x05 - Triathlon of Decorating

First aired: Oct/01/2008

The contestants are challenged in a interior design triathlon which will target their vision, style, and aesthetic versatility which causes drama between the designers.



16 :02x06 - Eco-Offices

First aired: Oct/08/2008

An environmental consulting firm has their offices revamped to make them "green."



17 :02x07 - Room of the Future

First aired: Oct/15/2008

The designers are challenged to look ahead in developing a futuristic spaces.



18 :02x08 - Light It Up

First aired: Oct/22/2008

The designers are challenged to build a huge room around the gigantic chandelier inside.



19 :02x09 - Finale, Part 1

First aired: Oct/29/2008

Each of the remaining contestants are given one room of their own to design. Guest judge Jeff Lewis (Flippin' Out) will work on part 1.



20 :02x10 - Finale, Part 2

First aired: Nov/05/2008

The designer's are challenged to decorate a house from top to bottom in the season 2 finale. A winner will be chosen and $100,000 will be awarded among the prizes.
