R.F.D.S. was a revamped version of the popular The Flying Doctors. The series aired on channel Nine in Australia. It was set in Broken Hill. Penny Wellings, Vic and Nancy Buckley were the only characters from the orginal series to appear on the new show.

Airdates varied slightly in different parts of Australia.
