A profile of Dalton Trumbo (1905-1976), a screenwriter who was blacklisted after being convicted of contempt of congress in 1947 for refusing to speak in front of the House Un-American Activities Committee. Before that his credits included Kitty Foyle and Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo, and his novel Johnny Got His Gun. He won an Oscar Award for The Brave One in 1956, after being blacklisted and writing under the name of Robert Rich.
