Behind Bars was broadcast live from the men's HMP Cardiff in Wales and the Drake Hall women's prison in Staffordshire. The series was hosted by Nick Knowles and Nadia Sawalha. The series took a look at the lives of the officers and prisoners at the prisons and looked at issues such as over crowding and parole.
