Water Rats: Death in the Family

A seemingly routine raid on a cruiser turns up an expensive bracelet that brings Frank and Rachel to the investigation of the disappearance of a young Turkish schoolgirl. Frank is certain that the girl's strict father is responsible for her murder, but they have to find enough evidence to lay charges before the man leaves the country.

Fiona leads the investigation into the disappearance of a radio presenter's wife.

Episode Quotes
Mamat: A man has got to be in control.
Rachel: Pfft!

(Frank and Gavin are trying to get a large man out of a porthole)
Rachel: How's it going?
Frank: Got any suggestions?
Rachel: Butter?
Frank: You're perverse!

Rachel: How'd you get the name "Boom Boom"?
Boom Boom: (laughs) Boom Boom Baby. Crash Craddick. It was a hit song... You'd be too young to remember, sweetheart.
Rachel: Oh yeah.

Frank: 10-1 there's someone from the legal profession on board. You never know, if might even be one of your ex-husband's cronies.
Rachel: Oh, who cares Frank?
Frank: Oh come on! Wouldn't it be fun to find one of the moral majority? Wouldn't it make it a little bit extra worth while?
Rachel: No, not particularly! Why are you so interested?
Frank: Human nature's always interested me. You know, duality. People put on one face and behind closed doors can be completely different.
