Rachel and Jack investigate the death of a man who was hunted like an animal, before being cut up into pieces and dumped in the mangroves. The investigation leads them to believe that the dead man was involved in a get rich quick scam, and was killed for his money.
The relationship between the two detectives takes a dramatic turn when they too become targets of the killer themselves.
