Patrick McKay and Vincent Danzig were childhood friends, but Life has taken them in completely different directions. McKay joined the police department and may become commissioner. Danzig is a career criminal who'd rather not see McKay become Police Commissioner. McKay blames Danzig for the death of son. The feud heats up as McKay's appointment becomes more likely and the next generation becomes involved.
