The Golden Hour is set around the lives and work of a small team of paramedics working on the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) in London.
The title refers to the vital hour when a casualty is first treated which can make all the difference between life and death.
The team have to deal with casualties involved in a bomb blast, a chemical incident and major road traffic accidents as well as with problems in their own livesincluding a love triangle between three of the crew. Each episode begins with the incident happening, before flashing back to how it happened, intercut with the team dealing with the incident and its aftermath.
The series ran for 4 x 90 minute episodes before being cancelled. |
