Biography of American physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer who helped in develop the atomic bomb during WWII. Later, he had mixed feelings about his participation in the project and the impact it had on the world. During the communist "scare" of the 1950s, his security clearance was revoked because of his doubts and his opposition to creating more powerful atomic weapons. After losing his security clearance, he took a post at Princeton and wrote about the conflict between scientific research/discovery and ethics/morals He died in 1967 of throat cancer.
