Originally made by Republic Pictures for the big screen in 1953-54, Stryker of The Yard was shown as a 13 episode (15 on NBC in the US, 1957-58) serial and was edited to fit on TV. It was shown in the UK on ATV from 2nd November 1961 to 25th January 1962, but by then looked very much dated.
