"The Word (US)" Summary |

Based on a novel by Irving Wallace, The Word follows the exploits of Steve Randall, a public relations executive and representative of a religious publisher. His obsession is to find the truth about a top secret project known as Resurrection Two. The project deals with the discovery of an ancient manuscript, believed to be the lost gospel written by Jesus' brother which would change the course of Christianity. His search is to find out the authenticity of the find or if it is just a hoax. Steve's mistress Tony is tired of playing second to his new passion.
