In the conclusion of this 3-part TV mini-series, Jackie Kennedy tries to adjust to her new life as a single mother after her husband JFK is killed. She eventually makes a rather controversial decision when she marries Greek shipping tycoon, Aristotle Onassis on 20 October 1968. The tabloid press has a field day, accusing Jackie Kennedy Onassis of only marrying the much older man for his money and ability to possibly shield her from the media's constant scrutiny. On 15 March 1975 Her second husband passed away while Jackie and her children were visiting New York City. She returned to the Greek islands shortly after this where she was photographed lying nude on a Greek island beach and magazine editor Larry Flynt published them in his August 1975 issue of Hustler magazine. She then returned to New York City where she takes a job as an editor with a major publishing house. Jackie died on 19 May 1994 from cancer at the age of 64.
