It's Ruff's first show, and he's not ready to go on the air. He sends Anna, Julia, and Khalil to the Museum of Science to meet a big "star," which leads to an exploration of our solar system. Taylor, Noah, and Brian stay back in Studio G (the garage) and try to earn points in the half-time quiz show.
While trying to impress the poodle next door with his dance moves, Ruff learns he has bad breath! Anna and Brian are sent to see if a dog's teeth are really cleaner than a human's, while Julia and Khalil learn how to dance the waltz. Noah and Taylor are left behind for the Half-Time Quiz Show.
Ruff must try to eat a dog treat when he incinerates his kibble and runs out of Chinese food. Noah, Khalil, and Julia are sent out to cook for zoo animals, while Anna learns some hip hop moves.
Ruff prepares for his show about kites, until he learns that he misunderstood - it's supposed to be about CATS. While Taylor and Anna must teach a cat how to fetch, Ruff assigns Brian and Noah to develop a special kite that can airlift a dog biscuit over to the cute poodle next door.
Ruff's power goes out, which gives him the idea to send the contestants back to the days before electricity. Since he doesn't have a time machine, he Ruff makes them give up all their electronics for a day and sends them back to 1627 through a visit to Plimoth Plantation.
Ruff sends Taylor, Brian, and Noah to make a music video with their grandparents. The music video is for Aaron Carter's "Saturday Night." Anna, Julia, and Khalil stay behind.
Ruff gets stuck in a bee costume, which gives him the idea to send Kahlil and Brian out to learn beekeeping skills. Julia and Anna take windsurfing lessons from champion Nevin Sayer.
Ruff has invested all his cash in a new, unpleasant-tasting recipe. Trying to make it better, he sends Khalil, Taylor, and Noah to create a new ice cream that uses ingredients that start with the letters B, L, and T. Brian is sent to a local diner to work as a short-order cook.
Ruff tells the story of his great-great-great-great-great-grandfather, Ruffael Ruffmanowitz. He sends the fetchers out to Hammond Castle, where Ruffael lived with John Hays Hammond Jr., a famous inventor. Searching for a lost invention, the kids must also be on the lookout for ghost cats.
Strapped for cash once again, Ruff needs to raise some funds. He has the contestants build their very own lemonade stand, and recruits master carpenter Norm Abram to make sure it's done right.
Ruff hears a thunderstorm coming, but the local weather announcer claimed there would be clear skies. Ruff ponders this inconsistency, and sends Taylor to learn the science of weather forecasting. Since Ruff is also feeling artistic, he sends Khalil, Brian, and Noah out to create a mural for a local pizza place.
When Ruff falls asleep in the bathtub and his doghouse floods with water, he decides that Khalil, Julia, and Anna should design a boat out of junk from the garbage dump. To make this even more challenging, he has a few extra rules they must follow.
Ruff remembers the time that The Great Spotinsky (who is Spot Spotnik, Ruff's longtime enemy) cost Ruff his dream job, and he wants revenge. He sends Brian to clown around at the circus, while another group of FETCH-ers must design the perfect weapon for revenge - a water balloon launcher.
Grandma Ruffman thinks Ruff should use his show to sell copies of her new cookbook. Unfortunately, even though Ruff has his own show, she doesn't think he's funny enough to get good results. Ruff sends Noah, Brian, and Taylor to Drumlin Farm to try out Granny's recipes, and Grandma Ruffman herself sends Khalil to a professional comedian to learn how to tell jokes.
Ruff's owner brings home a "doggie bag" for him, but there's only one dinner roll inside. This is not Ruff's idea of a meal, so he has the FETCH-ers create something better for dinner.
While learning to drive, Ruff crashes into a sea lion tank. This turns out to be a good thing, as it gives him two great ideas for the day's show. Taylor heads off to the New England Aquarium to train sea lions, and Julia learns what it takes to be on the pit crew of a professional junior Go-Kart driver.
Ruff sends all the contestants to yoga class to relax and lower their heart rates. Afterwards, he sends them to a theme park where they get to raise their heart rates back up.
Someone has broken into Ruff's doghouse and has stolen his brand new kneeboard. Might it have been a cat? The girls study the fascinating work of tracking animals (including studying animal scat) while Noah learns the ins and outs and kneeboarding.
Ruff is having a problem with his communication satellite. He would fix it, if only he could still fit into his old doggie cosmonaut spacesuit. Ruff decides to send all six of the FETCH-ers to Space Camp so they can learn what it's like to be an astronaut.
Ruff may not have a prize yet for his grand finale, but he has three fabulous rounds of competition and a quiz ready for his FETCH-ers. While Brian, Anna, Julia, Talylor, Noah and Khalil each try to become the grand champion, Ruff has to hunt down a prize.
Ruff gets a new intern, a cat named Princess Blossom Pepper Doodle Von Yum Yum. His bad luck continues when he accidentally notifies the press about his horrible mold problem, and the Health Department shuts him down. Ruff sends Madi and Nina to make chocolate so they can bride the health inspector, and sends Mike and Willie out to learn about microbial germs so he can clean up before he’s shut down for good.
Ruff tries to fix a leaky faucet, and accidentally floods his doghouse. When this gives him “the blues,” he tells the kids they can’t understand this because they're human, and humans only use 10% of their brains. The kids are sure Ruff is wrong, so he sends Bridget and Mike to a neurologist to test this supposed fact, and sends Madi and Willie to play some music with the Blue Man Group.
Ruff and his archenemy, Spot Spotnik, bet on a soapbox derby race, and his favorite squeaky toy is on the line. Nina, Rosario and Mike help out by attempting to build the fastest race car, and for good luck, Bridget enters a Chinese dragon boat race.
Ruff tries to market a new action figure based on himself, but since it can dance, no one believes he was the model for it. Trying to prove everyone wrong, he busts a move, only to bust his leg too. He sends the kids to a hospital to ease his fears about the place, but then is too distracted to remember the puppeteer for the day's show. Thinking quickly, he cleverly combines the two and has the kids produce a puppet show while at the hospital.
Ruff's Uncle McRuffmantosh spins a yarn about the ancient civilization of Dogtopia... a place where dogs and cats once lived together in peace until the cats ruined it. Blossom recalls the same legend, but she was told it was called "Catlantis," and it was the dogs who destroyed the peaceful society. Ruff sends the kids to the location where he believes Dogtopia once thrived, and hopes they can discover the real cause of the civilization's downfall.
When Ruff suggests that pizza can be as healthy as a tofu salad, Blossom claims he is wrong. Ruff looks up a phone number and sees the number of a cat adoption service as well. While Nina and make learn how to make healthy pizzas, Madi and Bridget go to the animal shelter... wondering if Ruff is trying to put Blossom up for adoption.
Ruff has two new goals: to win a celebrity cook-off with this "famous" gumbo, and to become a therapy dog. Unfortunately, his gumbo explodes, and he may not be "soothing" enough for therapy work. He sends Nina and Rosario to New Orleans to cook up a new batch of authentic gumbo, and assigns Mike and Madi to find proof that dogs are actually soothing to humans.
Grandma Ruffman won't let Ruff go to her party unless he attends etiquette lessons. Ruff sends Rosario and Nina learn which fork to use to use when, how to properly eat cold potato soup, and how to plan a party. Willie gets into a dolphin tank and learns facts about the fast-swimming mammals while competing with Calvin the dolphin.
When Ruff's owner makes plans to build a pool, Ruff is overjoyed until he learns that Studio G will be destroyed to make room for it. Afraid that this means he'll be homeless and will have to survive on his own, he sends the Fetchers to receive wilderness training at Pillsbury State Park.
Ruff gets some giant saltshakers, but his ceiling fan blows the salt everywhere, which inspires him to send Rosario to the mountains. While Rosario learns how to snowboard, Ruff sends Willie and Bridget off to Michigan where they try to build the perfect bowling machine.
When Ruff ruins his Hawaiian hat, he wants to send Rosario and Madi to Hawaii -- but he can only afford to send them to Colorado. While they learn about dog sledding and search for the Continental Divide, Willie and Nina follow Paul Revere's footsteps through the streets of Boston.
This episode begins with Rosario and Madi still stuck in Colorado, while Willie and Nina are still exploring Massachusetts dressed like early American colonists. Bridget and Mike sneak off to Massachusetts to save the day! Everyone must do their job to make it back to Ruff's studio safely and win their points.
Ruff sends kids to a western ranch where they learn to ride horses, pan for gold and compete in a rodeo. Rosario must overcome his fear of horses, and the kids practice their lasso skills.
Ruff forgets all about Grandparents Day, but doesn't want to let Grandma Ruffman down. He assigns Mike and Madi to go to a recording studio to create a song just for her, while Willie and Bridget head off to Disney World where they must use their physics knowledge to design a rollercoaster.
Lobsters overrun Studio G when Ruff must organize the TV Station's lobster bake beach party. Ruff sets out the party items on the beach and they wash away in the high tide, so it's up to Willie and Nina to retrieve them with the help of SCUBA lessons. Ruff sends Rosario and Bridget out on a lobster boat to catch enough food for the party.
Ruff wants to win the love of the pretty poodle next door, Charlene, but his competition is his old archenemy, Spot Spotnik. To gain her affection, he decides he must get in shape and write her a love poem. Nina is sent to write verse and compete in a poetry slam, and Mike, Willie and Madi are sent to the gym to get fitness and exercise tips.
Ruff is sent an e-mail that was meant for his evil twin, Scruff Ruffman. Though written in some sort of code, he is able to discern that Scruff turned to a life of crime after his career as a famous trapeze didn't work out. Now, it appears his evil twin may have something to do with an art theft at the Cave of Winds. Not wanting the world to think badly of trapeze artists, Ruff sends Madi to learn all she can about this incredible art form.
As luck would have it, Ruff has two important events to attend on the same day. He can either throw out the first pitch at a baseball game, or he can attend a swanky party in Germany with his cousin Helga. Ruff says yes to both, then decides to build a double of himself to throw the pitch while he's in Germany. Sadly, the double can't pitch, and fashion-designer Helga is offended by Ruff's tacky outfit, and kicks him out. He gets Mike to learn how to throw a decent pitch, while Rosario, Bridget and Madi must design some upscale doggy fashions.
Trouble brews at Dogwarts, Ruff's old school, when he sends the Fetchers there to collect the show's grand prize. Not only has the prize been stolen, but Blossom is missing as well. Getting assistance from the Boston's Police Department's forensics lab, the kids must solve the crime.
In a continuation of last week's episode, the fetchers try to discover who stole the show's grand prize, and all the evidence points to Ruff himself. Worried he may not be able to prove his innocence, Ruff considers candidates for his replacement as show host, should he go to jail. The kids not only continue to solve the crime, but also compete to see who may be the next host of FETCH!
The Season 3 opener finds Ruff broadcasting in smell-o-vision, but the promotion backfires when he's sprayed by a skunk.
Ruff builds a card table. Also: a mouse named Chet applies to be Ruff's new assistant.
Spot Spotnik's practical joke splatters Ruff with permanent ink. As a result, Ruff sends DJ, Jay and Sam to a chemistry expert to learn how to fight stains; and, because he now looks like a dalmatian, Ruff assigns Noel to learn about fighting fires at a fire academy.
When Ruff learns that there's a law against canines hosting reality game shows, he throws his hat into the political ring.
The FETCHers are sent to Washington, D.C., for spy training.
Sam, Harsha and D.J. create a sand sculpture at the beach; Jay learns about beauty and hair in a visit to a salon.
Harsha, Noel and Sam are assigned to build something that will protect a a tortilla chip and Grandma Ruffman's cake. Also: Sammy explores New York City's Spanish Harlem.
Sammy and DJ learn to square dance; Harsha and Jay visit a zoo, where they learn about gorillas.
