“Mundo VIP” was a weekly 50 minute long entertainment news program show. It discussed Hollywood Movies as well as Brazil’s film, theater, music and novelas (soap operas) scene. They also had short film clips of stars and interviews from all around the world. The show always had 2 hosts with one being Felipa Garnel the entire run of the series 1996 to 2001. His co-host was Margarida Pinto Correia from 1996 to 1997 and then she was replaced by Paulo Pires who continued as co-host through 2001. This series debuted on Sunday night, 21 April 1996 and last aired on Saturday night, 29 December 2001 for a total of 6 seasons.
