When 4 teenagers mysteriously die of a heart attack the same night, a reporter named Asakawa comes to investigate. He later learns that the cause of death was not because of a heart attack, but because all of them watched a video-tape that kills you 13 days after watching it, and not passing it along. As more people die, Asakawa tries to figure out what's happening, even watching the video-tape himself. Having less than 13 days, he has to stop it, and fast.
