During a terrible storm, Lucas, a young shepherd was blinded by lightening. Fortunately, he was taken in by the thoughtful nuns from a nearby nunnery. When Sister Catherine learns that Lucas has never seen snow, she tries to describe it to him by telling him the story of the first Christmas snow.
