Detective Joe Miller is on the case after two men are found burned to death in a pawn shop following a deal gone bad involving a mysterious key. When Miller obtains the key, he discovers that it lets him open any door to anywhere, through a motel room that lies outside of reality. But others seek the Key, and the other items that are tied to the room and have powers of their own.

2 :01x02 - Part 2: The Comb and the Box (Dec/12/2006)
Anna contacts her father; Joe meets up with Jennifer and receives help from the Legion; Dr. Ruber's story is questioned; Kreutzfeld gives Joe a history lesson on the objects. Joe then needs to recover two important items to gain access to the motel room in the real world: the comb that stops time, and the box that increases entropy.

Joe tries to save his daughter by using his resources and alliances, but one of his allies has a separate agenda, one that imperils the world. Joe and his ally must access a secret vault to recover the Prime Object, which they both need to get that which is most precious to them.
