Episode Notes

William Schallert is best known to TV viewers as Martin Lane on The Patty Duke Show.

Hank Patterson is best known as eccentric farmer Fred Ziffel on Green Acres.

Patricia Crowley would later star in the 1960's NBC sitcom Please Don't Eat the Daisies.

Episode Quotes
Meyer: We're all romantic. Or crazy.

Josie: I don't have any excuses for what I did.
Carella: We see a lot worse.

Carella: (to Josie) No one shoots a hole in a canoe for practice.

Kling: Why don't you find a girl who can type like I did?
Havilland: Type! Mine can't even read.

Josie: (to George) Now that I've had a taste for money I'm starved for it.

Analysis
Very good episode with William Schallert cast against type as a hitman and Pat Crowley changing her hair color (at least for a while) as his intended victim. The storyline is a bit shallow as the viewer should be able to guess what's going on but the suspense and the acting in this one make up for it.
