Three's A Crowd was shown on BBC THREE and repeated on BBC TWO. The series was hosted by Claudia Winkleman.

Two people of the opposite sex have to share an apartment and a third person moves in each day. The person who is the only male or female then has to randomly pick a card and go on a date with one of the two remaining housemates. At the end of the day the picker gets to ask one of the housemates to leave the house. The two remaining housemates are then given the chance to come out of out their bedrooms and meet in the dining room. If they both come out they leave the house together and become a couple and if they don't the whole process starts again the following day.
