The Naked Brothers Band
The Naked Brothers Band is a hit mockumentary television series that brought Nickelodeon's highest-rated premiere in seven years. It premiered in January 27, 2007 with the series pilot episode The Naked Brothers Band The Movie.
The Show
The show stars two real-life brothers Nat and Alex Wolff who write and perform all the series' music. The series is based on the real-life band they formed in pre-school with Nat's best-friend's. The series is created, executive produced, head written, and directed by Nat and Alex's real-life mom actress-writer Polly Draper who starred as Ellyn Warren on ABC's thirtysomething. The boys' father jazz pianist-composer Michael Wolff was the bandleader of The Arsenio Hall Show; on the show he play's his sons' clueless dorky, accordian playing dad. He also serves as the series co-executive producer, music supervisor and music producer.
In the show, the brother pretend to be world-famous like The Beatles and each episode is based on something that really happend to Nat and Alex.
Episode Info
Thomas, David and Qaasim land in jail after the band play their annual prank competition, which gets a bit out of hand. Meanwhile, Alex finds himself in trouble with drummers Simon Kirke, Questlove and Chris "Tomato" Harfenist, after bragging on his own drumming skills.
