Helen Cutter uses the opening of a new anomaly to escape from custody at the Home Office, leaving in her wake a flock of dodos.
Tom and Duncan steal one of the birds, unaware that they carry a deadly parasite, and when Tom is bitten and begins to feel the urge to attack people, he seeks out Abby for answers.
As Abby desperately tries to evade Tom's lethal bite, the others try to track him down before a pandemic is unleashed.
