I'll probably watch some of it, to see what the mini-series is like. |

Yeah, it seemed a bit too silly for me. Maybe it would have seen less silly if I watched it from the beginning, but I just couldn’t get too interested in what was going on. |

I thought it was a pretty good installment. At first I was like you guys, but as I sat watching it, I thought it was highly entertaining. |

Well, I don't know about you guys, but me and my roomate absolutely loved it!
Maybe it was the fact that they actually had many refrences to the original movie (like DG's diner outfit) . . . or maybne it was just the stellar story.
(***SPOILERS***)
When they say, "Journey Beyond the Yellow Brick Road" they MEAN it. Sure they walk on it, and have many similarties to the original book(s) and movie, but they've expanded this world into such a rich universe, with some awesome characters. I personally enjoy the entire good guy crew -- DG, Cain, Raw, and Glitch. But tonight's episode I actually enjoyed "Demailo" -- a random side character who's appearance actually stole the show!
So yeah, I enjoyed it, and I hope to see the remaining two eps! |

well i saw a behind the scenes look at it, and they said the reason they went for a miniseries is becauwe theres only so much you can put into a 2hour movie. with a miniseries they can uese somuch more form the book that was never used before.
btw, what about that encore presentation thing? |

i liked it... i dug all the references as well. i cracked up at her diner garb too.
i found it way more interesting than the original, but i've never really liked it. though for it's time, it was remarkable.
i'll keep watching. it had me very intrigued. |

I want to watch it, but I refuse to support anything Sci-Fi does as they always cancel the good stuff while keeping the crap.
SF can suck it. |

I'm glad I gave it a serious look, it's pretty good. Not as great as the original, to dark, but certainly worth a look. |

i like how dark it is... i like shows/films like that. probably why i like the new battlestar galactica so much. it has a pretty good cast. Neal McDonough is underrated. actually so is Alan Cumming. |
