So my only critical question for tonight's episode (because as mentioned earlier, I loved Part I) is this;
Where's Toto?? |

Oh good God, what a wonderful episode.
***SPOILERS***
Man, did they have fun making fun/giving tribute to the Judy Garland film. From the diner outfit, to DG's technicolor line, and the classic "Lions, Tigers, and Bears, Oh My!"
And yet the story progressed at such an incredible rate. I'm seriously loving Cain's family arc, and I can hope that his son is somehow still alive. The flashbacks answered several questions, and yet many questions remain.
I however, am somwhat unsatisfied with the Azkadelia arc -- she's apparently evil as the result of having an even uglier witch put her lifeforce into her. Thus creating the possibility that she's a sympathetic character (dont' get me wrong, DG's revelation that she inadvertatly played a role in her sister's usurption has been some wonderful storytelling). But I'm now worried that they'll try and find a way to redeem her malicious character.
Personally, I'm hoping we can find a reason to legitamately dislike the sorceress again, that way if she does have her own "melting scene," I'll be satisfied.
But overall, a wonderful episode. and hey -- I got my answer on whatever happened to Toto!!! |
