Today's F.B.I

This series was an attempt to update the successful 1960's series The F.B.I. starring Efrem Zimbalist Jr. Ben Slater (Mike Connors), a veteran of 20 years in the Bureau, leads a team of four outstanding agents: Nick, an ardent youth who excels in undercover jobs; Al, an athletic operative; Dwayne, an ex-navy agent; and Maggie, a psychologist who also knows to handle a gun. The team's target: organized crime tough guys, mad religious leaders, pornographers, corrupt businessmen. The real F.B.I. approved this portrayal of its operations and allowed the use of its files for the teleplays.
