Graham introduces the judges for the first time before they have to listen to may hopefuls auditioning. A few manage to shine and make it through to the next phrase of the competition but many hopes are dashed at this early stage.
Last week's successful singers enter Joesph school for intensive training where they are surprised by a visit from Jason Donavon. The fifty hopefuls are whittled down to just twenty and they are flown to Ireland to perform on stage for the fist time in front of Andrew's friends. At the end of the show the remaining performers find out if they have made it through to the live finals.
The twelve finalists have to sing live for the first time in the knowledge that one of them will be going home by the end of the night. The judges give their verdicts on what they have heard before the phone lines are opened for the crucial vote.
Chris Crosby and Ben are revealed as the two singers with the lowest amount of votes and have to sing again before Andrew Lloyd Webber. Andrew decides to save Ben leaving Chris the first singer eliminated from the finals.

With only seven left in the competition, everybody knows that they need to raise their game if they are to make it through to the next round. With only six performers left in the competition everyone knows that their dream of playing Joseph in the West End is getting closer. The three remaining hopefuls battle it out to be crowned the series champion and win the leading role in the London stage show Joseph And His Amazing Technicoloured Dreamcoat. The phone lines are opened at the beginning of the show and each of the three finalists have to sing twice. Andrew predicts that any one of them could win the competition. At the end of the show the phone lines are frozen and Graham announces that Lewis has finished in third place. The phones lines are then reopened.
Keith and Lee have one last chance to impress the viewing public before the phone lines are closed for the last time. When the votes have been counted and verified Graham announces Lee as the series winner.
