Created, written, and staring Aziz Ansari, Rob Huebel, and Paul Scheer is Human Giant, a sketch comedy with a taste of short film-inspired scenes and parodies. Before premiering in April of 2007 on MTV, the cast of Human Giant attracted audiences and gained a loyal fan base in New York City's comedy scene through live shows performed at the Upright Citizens Brigade, a famous underground comedy club.

Prior to the conclusion of the first season, the show cast was given free reign over MTV for twenty-four hours. Hosting from MTV's Time Square studio and shot completely live, the marathon began at noon on May 18th and ended the following day on time. They were given less than 8 days to conceive and write the entire show.

Production on season two began in late July. The Human Giant Blog, which is continually updated by the shows creators, posted news stating season two started shooting in October. Episodes began airing March 11th, one week after the first season was released on DVD.
