Hollywood Beat. Another Miami Vice clone, created by Aaron Spelling. Two cops in Hollywood, detectives Nick McCarren (Scalia) and Jack Rado (Acovone). Instead of high fashion, these cops spend a lot of time undercover in uniforms playing all kinds of characters to nab all sorts of evildoers. His boss, Captain Wes Biddle, a former Marine Corps soldier, is played by Ed Winter. The duo operated from a local business run by a huge guy, George Grinsky (Matuszak).
