The death of a fellow cop prompts 25-year veteran Ike Porter (Paul Sorvino) to leave his cushy desk job and become a street cop. In the opener, Porter and his partner Tony (D.W. Moffett) investigate a murder---much to the displeasure of their boss Lt. Zaga (Raymond J. Barry).
