1 :01x01 - Bluebird is Back

Hunter and Marty track down a red agent. In this first episode, Hunter and Ms. Shaw are after a Communist agent named Bluebird who leaves a razor-sharp edged star in each of his victims as a calling card. The star, by the way, is a unique martial arts weapon. It seems that everytime Hunter is ready to pay a call on a possible informant, the source has fallen prey to Bluebird by means of the slicing star. One victim, for variety's sake, crashes to his death when his parachute is tangled during a sky jump

2 :01x02 - Mirror Image

Hunter is in a new episode—but in an old plot tonight. The bad guys (Reds in this caper) create, through surgery, an exact duplicate of Jim Hunter (Franciscus) to get at secret U.S. data. A plastic double of Hunter is created in a plot to frame him for the murder of a U.S. intelligence officer.

William Windom is the baddie here, a Russian agent who arranges for pretty Marty Shaw (Linda Evans) to have an auto accident so that he can do a little mind-altering job on her. She's,"programmed" to kill her uncle, an influential admiral in the Navy. But Hunter (James Franciscus) uses the old mirror trick to "snap" her out of it.
