9 :01x09 - All I've Tried to Be

After being divorced, and in order to start a new life, Edith Evans returns to Gibbsviile. There she gets an interview with Jim Malloy and looks for a job at the City Foundation. Donald Evans, Edith's father, has a considerable investment in the Foundation and is president of the company and the local bank. Shortly after, some irregularities in the accounts of the bank are discovered and Donald stands accused of having used banking money to keep up the Foundation, which is apparently on the verge of bankruptcy.
Moreover, Dr. Malloy, father of Jim's, has some unpleasant news, a former alcoholic has entered his office and taken some drugs. The doctor, although knows his identity, does not report him to the police, jeopardizing his career.
