Linus the Lion-Hearted was the benevolent King of the Jungle whose friends included Billie Bird and Grouse. His adventures constituted one segment of the show. Other segments were Sugar Bear, about the adventures of a hipster bear, and Lovable Truly, a kind-hearted postman who kept dogs from being taken to the pound by nefarious dog-catcher Richard Harry Nearly.
