Season 12
146 :12x01 - Carlsbad Charm (Oct/07/2007)
Wendy and Eric Deneroff have lived in their elegant Spanish-style home in Carlsbad, California, for more than two years. Although the elegant interior suits their styles perfectly, the backyard is not a useful space for them or their two small children. They'd like to develop a shady patio area as an extension of the interior of their home, add a built-in barbecue for entertaining and create a place for kids' play. Plus, they want to maximize their spectacular view.

147 :12x02 - Oakland Oasis (Oct/21/2007)
Eric and Erin Grassie have maintained the historical style of their 1913 home in Oakland, California, yet have added modern colors and accents that suit their style. However, their overgrown hillside backyard has remained untouched, and now that they're expecting their first child, they need to create a garden that they can really use. They'd like to get rid of the dilapidated remnants of the previous landscape and create a space for their friends and growing family to enjoy.

Carrie and Jim Rowan have built their dream home on three beautiful acres in Gwynned Valley, Pennsylvania. The land was used as a grazing pasture for sheep more than 200 years ago. The couple want to maintain the idyllic setting, but they also want a space that's suitable for grown-up entertaining. They hope to create natural accesses to the structures on the property and give the space an elegant feel.

149 :12x04 - Illinois Yard Transformation (Nov/18/2007)
Neil and Susan Locke have lived in their Arlington Heights, Illinois, home with their three daughters for 11 years. The spacious home is beautifully decorated in a warm, traditional style, but their equally spacious yard does not mirror the personality of the home. Now that their girls are grown, the couple would like their expansive space to be suitable for mature entertaining. They hope to see a dramatic water feature, a large patio and lots of color and style in a space with a tranquil, intimate feel.
