Regan and Carter discover a gang of criminals are using a radio transmitter to co-ordinate a number of robberies, and they are about to pull of a bank job with their new boss. Under strict instructions from Superintendant Grant, Regan sets up an undercover operation in the pub next door to the bank, and the case reunites him with an old flame.
