Tammy

Tammy follows the story of a winsome, 18-year-old backwoods girl who lives in two different worlds. One was on a houseboat on the bayou with relatives, and the other was a plantation known as "The Bowers" where she worked as a secretary to John Brent, the owner of the estate. Tammy is loved by everyone except a snooty neighbor, Lavinia Tate. Back on the houseboat lives Grandpa Mordecai, an old codger and Uncle Lucius, a real scalawag who both raised Tammy after her parents died.
