Joe Forrester

Joe Forrester is an unconventional cop. He is a veteran street cop who takes a personal interest in the welfare of the neighborhood on his beat. Working behind a desk or donning a suit and tie while investigating fancy crimes was no life for Joe Forrester. That's why Joe decided to continue walking a beat, convinced that a policeman could do better work the closer he got to the community he was protecting. In his cop uniform, Joe dealt with robbers, pushers, runaways and arsonists more than crazed killers and rapists. The series was spun off an episode of "Police Story" called "Cop on The Beat" (or "The Return of Joe Forrester").
