My Friend Irma

My Friend Irma began as a long-running radio show back in the 1940's, which moved to TV in 1952-54. Its the story of two young women who take an apartment together in a big city. Irma Peterson was a bit scatterbrained and innocent and was always being helped out of a jam by her level-headed friend and roommate Jane Stacy. They lived in an apartment which was run by Mrs. O'Malley. Irma's boyfriend is named Al and is always searching for a get rich quick scheme.
