A couple who recently had a baby find that they need to move from their one bedroom condo into a larger house. The Freemans feel they need to clean up the baby clutter from the condo. Meanwhile, another family which includes 3 kids feel they have outgrown their home. It lacks any personality, which the Freemans point out that it needs both accessories and an infusion of color to make it more marketable.
 
45 :04x10 - Siblings Selling (Dec/09/2008)
A brother and sister are selling the that their parents had bought them while in college. While the condo feels like a dorm it looks more like a storage space with stacks of boxes and all the furniture against the walls. The Freemans suggest the clutter is removed and the condo staged with more furniture in the living room. In addition, they bring in neutral colors and take out more clutter in the bedrooms and bathrooms. Meanwhile, new mom Julie lives in a one-bedroom condo with her infant daughter. Because of her new baby, she's planning to move back to her native Indiana to be closer to her family. Donna and Shannon believe that her 800-square foot condo could feel larger and more inviting to buyers with new window treatments, lighter colors and relocating the dining room to the kitchen.

A couple and their son are planning a move to San Diego. Their old home is certainly big enough with 1400-square feet, but they can't seem to utilize the space as the buyers want to see it. The living room can be brightened with new furnishings, and the office needs a lighter paint color and clearing out of the clutter. Making the backyard into another room and adding some new colors into the other rooms is also suggested.

A family living in a home with three bedrooms and two baths feel they have outgrown the house. They hope they can make the house work for them and not against them. Maybe a larger space can be made by separating the dining room and entry. Also, the addition of new appliances, painting the cabinets and adding new hardware and flooring in the kitchen. Then, a woman in Charleston is selling her four bedroom home to move in with her new husband in Connecticut. Shannon and Donna feel that the furniture in the living room is too large, while the dining/bar area looks like an unfinished empty space. A suggestion is made to remove the large cat post and repainting the bright red walls to something more neutral.
 
48 :04x13 - Toning Down and Jazzing Up (Dec/30/2008)
Sam and George from Summerville, SC, own a four-bedroom, four-bathroom colonial style home. Donna and Shannon explain that personal items and furniture need to be toned down to help buyers picture themselves in the home. Meanwhile, a guy in North Hollywood, owns a two-bedroom condo which lacks pizazz. The team has lots of suggestions that will open up and modernize the space.
