Movie star Ronald Colman tried his hand at series television with this sticom about a college president and his former actress wife. Colman's real life wife, Benita Hume, co-starred in the series. Halls of Ivy had originally aired on radio from 1950-52 starring Colman and Hume. It was brought to television where it aired on CBS for one season.
