“Bakekang” was very popular comic graphic novel in the Philippines written by Carlos J. Caparas. The rights to the comic was purchased by the GMA TV Network in the Philippines and made into a weeknight drama series. The story revolves around a very ugly girl who despite her looks and the discrimination she faces manages to achieve great success in life.
