He flies them to where he lives in Besancon, France and they have two days to open a restaurant and impress the locals. | 16 :02x01 - Signature Dish (Sep/10/2008) | | Raymond Blanc begins the search to find another couple to go into business with. The couples are shocked to find out there is a tough challenge before the real contest begins. | |

| 17 :02x02 - Opening Night (Sep/11/2008) | | The couples see their empty restaurants for the first time. The couples have one week to get the places ready before opening night. | |

| 18 :02x03 - Pay What It Is Worth (Sep/17/2008) | | The 8 restaurants open and the diners are told to only pay what they think the meals are worth. Raymond's team also visit each restaurant to assess what they think the meals are worth. Raymond announces which couple are this week's top team. | |

| 19 :02x04 - Motorway Service (Sep/18/2008) | | The three less successful couples after the opening night challenge are set another one. Each couple are sent to a different motorway service station where they have to prepare a breakfast menu. The least successful couple find their time on the show over. | |

| 20 :02x05 - No Waste, No Loss (Sep/24/2008) | | The remaining teams have to create a meal using every part of a Sea Bream. The three teams who have been considered to have done the worst job learn that they will face the elimination challenge this week. | |

| 21 :02x06 - Oxford Formal Halls (Sep/25/2008) | | The couples facing elimination have to create a formal dinner at three prestigious Oxford colleges. At the end of the show one team is eliminated from the competition. | |

| 22 :02x07 - Flags Of The World (Oct/01/2008) | | The remaining couples have to change their menus so that it will include a national dish from overseas. People from each country are sent to the restaurants to try out the dishes. For one couple not everything goes as planned. | |

| 23 :02x08 - Airline Food (Oct/02/2008) | | The three couples facing elimination have to prepare meals aboard an airliner. At the end of the show one of the couples is eliminated. | |

| 24 :02x09 - Takeaway (Oct/08/2008) | | This week's challenge sees Raymond telling the remaining couples that they have to create a takeaway menu. | |

| 25 :02x10 - The Dinner Party (Oct/09/2008) | | The three couples facing elimination have to host a dinner party for some very demanding guests. At the end of the show one of the couples is eliminated from the show. | |

| 32 :03x01 - The Pitch (Oct/29/2009) | | The nine couple taking part have just an hour to cook a dish that gives their vision for their restaurant. Only the top seven couples will move forward. | |

| 33 :03x02 - The Chain (Nov/05/2009) | | The remaining seven couples left in the competition battle it out to get a set of keys to one of Raymond's six Bristol restaurants. Working together they have to run three of the Bristol's leading chain restaurants. A the end of the show one of the couples is eliminated. | |

| 34 :03x03 - Opening Night (Nov/12/2009) | | The six remaining couples have to prove that their restaurant concepts work on opening night in Bristol against stiff competition. Before they open they have to decide what to call their restaurants. At the end of the show with help from David Moore and Sarah Willingham, Raymond has to decide which couple will be eliminated. | |

They can only use fresh, local and seasonal products to create different dishes to sell at a local farmers' market. At the end of the show another of the couples are eliminated. | |

| 36 :03x05 - The Cake (Nov/26/2009) | | The four remaining couples have to serve afternoon tea to more than a hundred guests during a heatwave in Bristol. The couples have to compete against one another and try and impress the guests with their different menus. The couples then have to take booking from VIP guests at their individual restaurants with special requests from the diners. At the end of the show another one of the couples are eliminated. | |

| 39 :03x08 - The Final (Dec/17/2009) | | The final two couples face their biggest challenge yet as they have one last chance to impress. They have to serve a banquet for Lord and Lady Arran and their guests at their home in Devon. The couples have to prepare alternate dishes for the party. They then both have to make a soufflé to be served for dessert. At the end of the show the winners of the series are announced. | |
