"Klondike" Summary |

[x] Remove Ad
A adventurer and a conman meet in cold 1897 Alaska. The series concept had been tried once before by ABC a year earlier with The Alaskans. That version of life in Alaska during the late 19th century didn't work and neither did this one. Klondike bit the dust after only 17 episodes but amazingly the two stars of the series, James Coburn and Ralph Taeger, were quickly shoved into another series entitled Acapulco. This second series offered somewhat of a re-formatting of Klondike but did no better in the ratings and got the axe after only eight episodes.
