Examining the increasing sophistication of video games in the late 1970s and early '80s. Included: Sega's Genesis and Sony's PlayStation.

3 :01x03 - Level Three

The advance of technology has allowed 3-D images to be used in video games, but some of the increased details are of disturbing subjects. A debate between critics an designers over the ethics of violence being included and its addictive tendency.

4 :01x04 - Level Four

Games begin simulating entire worlds controlled by players, allowing them to experiment with lifelike characters.

5 :01x05 - Level Five

Games add emotional and interpersonal dimensions, allowing players to interact and make connections in virtual-world games.
