Westenwind is probably the best family drama shown on Dutch television. Great acting, especially by Daan Schuurmans, who plays the role of Anton Noordermeer a violent man/criminal. The series can compare itself to Dallas, however at the start of season 6 most of the cast has been replaced and the acting of the replacement actors wasn't as good as at the beginning, the stories weren't as captivating as they used to be, with viewer counts dropping Westenwind got canceled after 8 unexcusable episodes in the final season.
