Going back in time about thirty years, give or take a few, and seeing Ernest Moss, the local handyman. He fixes everybody's problems: no job too big, no job too small. When the village, called Ottle, gets a slick investment group coming in to offer the people of Ottle, things start going awry. Everyone is dazzled by the glitz of cash; all except Ernest that is, who is adamant that there is something not quite right.
