Re'uven Dagan is a therapist whose sessions with his patients and his own therapist are shown in this breakthrough Israeli series, which was shown five days a week, each half hour episode covering one session. Na'ama is a young woman who wants a personal relationship with Re'uven, Yadin is a pilot formerly in the Israeli military who bombed civilians in a Palesinian apartment building, teenage Ayala is an Olympic gymnast who appears to be suicidal, and Micha'el and Orna are a married couple contemplating their marriage and whether to have another child. Finally, Re'uven sees Gila, who was his mentor when he began practicing, as his own life, including his marriage to Ya'el, unravels more and more.
