Stupid, Stupid Man is set in and around the offices of a monthly men's publication, "Chaps Own Quarterly, le COQ magazine", nestled in the bowels of an Australian publishing empire. The show focuses focuses on four male and two female characters, living their working lives in an enviroment that they either revel in or are repulsed by. Ultimately each is proud (some more than others) of their magazine and even the most cynical cares about whether their publication will survive in the jungle of the men's magazine market.
