It is the year 2059 and the world have changed. We get to follow the 25th colonial fleet, also known as Macross Frontier, there the story mainly focuses on the lives of Alto Saotome, Sheryl Nome and Ranka Lee.
This is the direct sequel of the first Macross anime.
