Akira Nikaido is living quite a normal life, he is also a bit of a slacker, that is until he meets Shirogane. Shirogane transforms Akira into a shin, which is a creature of the shadow world. Now Akira has to try and restore the balance of the human and shadow world and also fight monsters from the shadow world from attacking humans.
